DHL promotes Amanda De Silva as VP of Group Communications, Brand and Sustainability, Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE — Deutsche Post DHL (DPDHL) Group, the world’s leading logistics company, has promoted Amanda De Silva to Vice President for DHL Asia Pacific, Group Communications, Brand and Sustainability. In her new role, she will direct and shape the communications function and establish the regional functional strategy for integrated communications in the Asia Pacific region.

“Amanda brings a wealth of experience to her current role with more than 22 years in the communications industry. I fully believe the region will grow from strength to strength under her remarkable leadership,” said Monika Schaller, Global Head of Communications, Sustainability and Brand, DPDHL Group.

After 10 years in PR agencies in Singapore, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, Amanda joined DHL in 2011 as a Corporate Communications Manager for Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. There she led regional communications campaigns, working across the various business divisions on news development and media relations, before assuming the role of Head of Corporate Responsibility programs in 2015. In 2020, she was promoted to Head of Organizational Communications, DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific, before becoming Head of Employee & Digital Communications, Asia Pacific, in 2022.
