MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Tech-driven content house Elesi Studios welcomes in-house directors whose unique talents and fresh outlooks prod the team towards an exciting future.
In his 12 years in the industry, Director ER Alviz has been directing creative works featured in various media, from directing viral food, humor and musical TV commercials to creating music videos for some of the country’s top music talents and recently pulling off an eight-show theatrical adaptation of a local publication.
“My exposure in creating and producing various campaigns allowed me to see creativity and storytelling in different lenses — how it shaped culture throughout the years. This is something that aligned me with Elesi especially on how it maximizes technology, making it a powerful tool in creating content. That’s how I know that I made the right decision,” shared ER.
ER Alviz is a renowned director behind numerous successful campaigns for top brands such as Shopee, Cebu Pacific, and Burger King. Meanwhile, Director Jude Matanguihan‘s impressive journey started with online editing and animation, which eventually led him to direct award-winning short films then music videos. With growing exposure to advertising, he decided to shift his focus and start a new adventure.
He has worked with brands like PRULife UK, Robinsons Malls, Globe, Listerine, Klook, Belo, Ben&Ben, Datu Puti, NutriAsia, Vicks, Emperador, Tanduay, and Petron.

“As a freelancer before, the idea of transitioning to an in-house setup was initially scary for me,” commented Jude. “But Elesi made me realize how aligned I am with their vision and how we can harness the power of creativity to create content that shapes cultures. With people with the same creative wavelength, it felt like home.”
“We are very thrilled to have both multi-talented directors in the fold. With their creativity, passion and forte in storytelling, there is no doubt they will surely bring the best content for our clients and partners,” remarked Elesi Studios Managing Partner Earl Guico.
