MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Google Philippines’ Director for Solutions Operations Patricia Choa was recognized as one of the nine 2022 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World (Global FWN100). The award was given by the Filipina Women’s Network during the 2022 Filipina Leadership Global Summit in Lisbon, Portugal.
The recognition is awarded to Filipina leaders around the world who are influencing the face of leadership in the global workplace, recognizing their outstanding contributions, mentorship, and legacy in their respective professions, industries, and communities.
This year’s awardees are recognized for their exceptional organizational impact in a large workplace environment given their collaborative initiatives with their partners on behalf of her own company.
Patricia leads global operations that support digital advertising campaigns for mid to large-sized customers across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. She fulfills the role of helping Google’s customers achieve their business goals with effective and efficient digital campaigns.
“I am very humbled to receive this award, especially among the company of the other awardees who are highly accomplished, impactful leaders in their own fields,” said Patricia. “Receiving this award is a testament to Google’s values. At Google, we are encouraged to ‘bring our whole self to work,’ and this means that anyone can succeed regardless of one’s background or culture.”
The Global FWN100 Awards aims to demonstrate the excellence of Filipinas in every sector of the economy worldwide, marking their respective industries with a lasting Filipino imprint through the work they do.
“For me, this award acknowledges that Filipinas are capable of leading global organizations and creating valuable impact. My fellow awardees inspire me to create even more opportunities for my fellow Filipinas and create paths for them to become inspiring leaders in their respective industries or communities,” Patricia continued.
Google’s various internal programs like #MyStoryMatters and #TellYourStory aim to develop skills in personal branding as well as self and cultural advocacy. Patricia is among the leaders who passionately support the development of Filipino and women leaders in Google and seek to continue scaling the training programs.
Patricia added, “The Filipino Women’s Network allowed me to meet equally empowered women whom I can collaborate with to scale programs that can enable more women in the country. It is our shared hope to see more Filipinas in leadership positions in every sector of society.”
