MANILA, PHILIPPINES — GMA Regional TV’s flagship and top-rating national news program Regional TV News, aired every Monday to Saturday at 10 am on GTV, has continued to make top stories from the Philippine provinces available to more viewers here and abroad. Last July 31, it launched its new lineup of news anchors representing Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Providing the most credible, comprehensive, and relevant news from the country’s key urban and rural areas are veteran broadcast journalists Cris Zuñiga for Luzon, Cecille Quibod-Castro for Visayas, and Sarah Hilomen-Velasco for Mindanao. Joining them in reinforcing the Network’s “Local News Matters” campaign are GMA Regional TV’s local news teams and stringers across the Philippines.
The newest addition to GMA Integrated News’ pool of regional news personalities, Cris also anchors the pioneering newscast in North Central Luzon, GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon. Cecille, on the other hand, is one of the news presenters of the unified weekday newscast GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak. Sara anchors the pioneering unified local Mindanao newscast GMA Regional TV One Mindanao.
