Havas Japan appoints Shinsuke Sawasaki as Group Executive Creative Director

TOKYO, JAPAN — Havas Japan is setting the stage for a new creative era with the appointment of Shinsuke Sawasaki, better known in industry circles as Sawa as its new Group Executive Creative Director. The newly minted role marks a strategic move to sharpen the agency’s creative edge and deepen its cultural imprint in one of Asia’s most dynamic markets.

Known for his flair in crafting work that lives at the intersection of storytelling and cultural resonance, Sawasaki brings over 20 years of global experience to the table with acclaimed stints at We Are Social, Publicis, and J. Walter Thompson. Throughout his career, he’s been the creative force behind campaigns for iconic brands like Kit Kat, P&G, Puma, and Häagen-Dazs, earning accolades across Spikes Asia, AdFest, Effies, and the New York Festivals Global Awards. In 2025, he also joins the jury panel for The One Show’s Social Media category, underscoring his relevance in today’s ever-evolving creative landscape.
