JAKARTA, INDONESIA — Ogilvy Indonesia has appointed Fernando Sarael as new head of its growing Content offering. Fernando’s mandate is to accelerate how Ogilvy delivers impactful content at scale at the intersection of brand building, agility, and efficiency. As Head of Content, Fernando will lead a team of over 30 individuals, composed of content strategists, designers, and writers.
“Fernando has grown to be one of the most valuable business leaders in Ogilvy Indonesia. He has successfully led his team to deliver award-winning work for Wyeth Nutrition and is a driving force in continuously modernizing the digital capabilities of the Agency. I am delighted to expand his role to head our content studio offering and lead Ogilvy Indonesia to the next chapter of growth in this space,” said Group CEO Sieg Penaverde.
Prior to the expanded remit, Fernando has led the Wyeth Nutrition business, receiving some of the highest accolades in Indonesia and APAC modern marketing award shows while contributing to the brand’s sustained business growth. He also serves as the training lead, spearheading capability upskilling and learning and development initiatives. He was recently commended by Campaign Asia as 2022 SEA Young Business Leader of the Year.
