SINGAPORE — Creative agency Ogilvy has announced the appointment of Krishnan Menon as President of Experience for Ogilvy in Asia. With over two decades of client-facing experience within the WPP network, Krishnan has helped some of the world’s biggest brands transform their customer engagement approach and use data to build customer-centric experiences. In this new role, Krishnan will be tasked to bring together Ogilvy’s rich capabilities across customer engagement, commerce, CRM, loyalty, new realities, and digital innovation into a cohesive, end-to-end experience offering.
He will work closely with Genevieve Tan, general manager of Verticurl (Ogilvy’s marketing technology arm) in APAC, to drive Ogilvy’s ambitious Experience growth agenda in 2023 and beyond.
Meanwhile, Sheilen Rathod, who headed Experience in Asia since 2020, will transition into a new position as Chief Growth Officer, Asia. In this newly created role, he will be focusing on strategic growth initiatives across the region and initially focusing on several China-specific projects.

Krishnan most recently served as Chief Client Officer for Merkle and dentsu CXM APAC, a role in which he was tasked with nurturing and growing client relationships with a focus on helping world-class brands deliver customer experiences. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade with Wunderman and then as Chief Client and Growth Officer for Wunderman Thompson APAC. Krishnan first worked with Ogilvy at the start of his career from 1997 until 2007 across various roles culminating as the Head of Ogilvy Action in South India. He has a proven track record of delivering data-driven brand experiences for a wide portfolio of B2C and B2B brands.
