SINGAPORE — BBDO Singapore’s Chief Creative Officer Tay Guan Hin is appointed Creative Chairman of the agency, continuing to lead the agency to further expand and grow its creativity.

With an impressive creative career spanning almost 30 years, creative veteran Tay Guan Hin has helped accelerate the creative work at BBDO since he joined in 2020.

Known in the industry for his passion, drive, and infectious energy, Guan Hin hit the ground running at BBDO, winning major accounts and works over the past year, embracing the opportunities of the new normal while working towards the future of ‘The Work. The Work. The Work.’

“Guan Hin has played a key role in BBDO Singapore’s growth for the past 2 years. Aside from being appointed to the One Club For Creativity’s International Board of Directors this year, out of just eight candidates from Asia, he has judged various shows such as Cannes Lions Digital Jury, MENA Digital Awards, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Cresta and PHNX Awards. As a keynote speaker, he has given presentations at Vertical Storytelling, Content Marketing Summit in Korea, AdStar, Adfest and the E-Commerce Expo in Singapore to mention a few.

Guan Hin’s passion for the industry also extends to mentoring young talent. Along with organizing the first student awards in Singapore, he mentored “The One Show China Youth Creative Awards” and oversaw the Global MAD Academy (AdStar) and The Portfolio Night Singapore this year.

In recognition of this immense contribution to the industry, he has received over 300 creative awards (international, regional and local), and was the first Asian in SEA to receive the honour to be the Cannes Lions, Jury President. He continues to be an active member of the BBDO Asia Creative Council.

Outside of the ad industry, Guan Hin has been appointed the Vice President of Asia Professional Speakers Singapore. As the Convention Chair, he helped form their first live-streamed hybrid event, reaching hundreds of delegates worldwide.
