MANILA, PHILIPPINES – GIGIL announces the hiring of Nanais Hernandez as Strategic Planner, Leslie Cua and Jordan Constantino as Associate Creative Directors, and the promotions of Heninah Salud, Jaime Yusingbo and Greggy Gregorio to Senior Art Director, Senior Art Director for Design, and Associate Head of Social, respectively.
Nanais Hernandez is joining GIGIL as Strategic Planner. She comes from McCann Worldgroup Philippines where, as Associate Brand Strategy Director, she helped win the agency a Gold & Silver APAC Effies, and a Gold APAC Tambuli for the KitKat “Break In Case of Little Emergencies” campaign.
Leslie Cua comes from Publicis Jimenez Basic, where she spent over 3 years handling Globe, Lazada, Burger King, Chowking, Unilab, Monde Nissin, and The Medical City. Recently, Leslie was ranked by adobo Magazine among the Top 6 in the Philippines in both the Young Creative and Copywriter categories. She has won a shelf full of awards, notably a Clio, Grand Kidlat, and a Tambuli Grand Prix in 2017 for Globe “Rogue One: Create. Courage.”
Before joining GIGIL, Jordan Constantino was a Creative Head at ABS-CBN. Aside from his agency work, Jordy is the founder/bassist/songwriter of Valley of Chrome, a Filipino metalcore band that has already toured the world. He will oversee CLiQQ by 7-Eleven, one of GIGIL’s agency-on-record clients. The relationship was recently declared Southeast Asia Agency Marketer Partnership of the Year by Campaign AOY 2020.
Heninah Salud is a homegrown GIGIL talent who has been with the agency since February 2018. A recruit from DSLU, she has blossomed into an award-winning art-based creative, helping deliver metals from the AD STARS, Boomerangs, and YouTube Ads Awards. She has also helped create viral hits for Winrox, Novuhair, and Safeguard.
Jaime Yusingbo started as a fresh-graduate freelancer in GIGIL in 2018. In just 2 years, Jaime has helped bring in a haul of awards, contributing to the agency’s most award-winning campaigns: Levi’s “Studs” and Unilever “SHOP2GIVE.” His work has helped the agency bring home a Gold APAC Effie, Silver CLIO, Bronze ADFEST Lotus, Grand PANATA Award, and a Crystal Grand Prix from the YouTube Ads Awards. Jaime will be reporting to GIGIL Head of Design, JR Bumanglag.
Greggy Gregorio was also hired straight from university. Graduating from the IMC Program of the UA&P, Greggy entered GIGIL in 2018 as a digital strategist. Greggy was a key figure in handling the agency’s Levi’s social and creative requirements, helping GIGIL snatch a Gold APAC Effie, Silver CLIO, and a Bronze APAC Tambuli for the Levi’s “Studs” and “Save Water” campaigns. Greggy also double-hats as a full-time copywriter, helping GIGIL win new accounts like Unioil, Kumu, IMMAP, and Accenture. She will now supervise the agency’s social media department, and report to Head of Social Jeano Cruz.
“Badong and I are excited to beef up the creative firepower of the agency with the hiring of Nanais, Leslie, and Jordy, and of course, the promotions of Heninah, Jaime, and Greggy,” says Herbert Hernandez, Founding Partner of GIGIL. “We’re looking forward to serving our growing list of clients who have seen our work in 2020, and want to see the same level of GIGIL in the launch of their brand campaigns next year.”
