SINGAPORE — Gaming and esports venture builder, Mana Partners, today announced the appointment of Matthew Zatto as Chief Commercial Officer. Zatto will work alongside Founders Jamie Lewin and Mike Kang to develop new revenue streams and commercial partnership opportunities in order to expand the company across Southeast Asia.
Launched earlier this year and founded by senior executives from leading gaming brands including Riot Games and Electronic Arts, Mana Partners is a gaming & esports venture builder, constituting a brand consultancy, technology development, and industry investments. Mana Partner’s consulting business helps brands, startups, and rights owners to unlock new communities and opportunities through game-changing partnerships and programmes.
Zatto joins a diverse founding team that includes some of the region’s most experienced industry leaders. Managing Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, Jamie Lewin was most recently Head of Partnerships at Riot Games following his role as Head of Innovation APAC at Mindshare. Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Mike Kang was the former Head of Business Development APAC at Electronic Arts.
Based in Singapore, Zatto brings over fourteen years of experience in martech and advertising across a variety of sectors. Before founding his own consulting firm, Zatto was an early employee at Tesla and later led the commercial effort for Wildfire Interactive, the pioneering social media SaaS platform that was acquired by Google.
Commenting on his appointment, Zatto said, “I’m super excited to be joining the Mana team at such a tipping point in the gaming and esports growth story. I believe Mana Partners has a novel business model and tremendously talented management team that uniquely positions us to capitalise on the opportunity in Southeast Asia and beyond. As the ecosystem evolves, I believe Mana Partners can be the economic catalyst in the gaming and esports industry.
Mana Partner’s Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Jamie Lewin added, “Matt brings invaluable experience in scaling high-growth and innovative businesses across Southeast Asia. His commercial acumen, adaptability and quenchless enthusiasm will undoubtedly set us up for success in driving the business forward.
At Mana Partners, we bring the uniquely diverse experience of our people – within game developers, publishers, esports producers, brands, media agencies and technology companies – to brand challenges. Unbiased by being a rights owner, we develop player-centric gaming & esports strategies for brands – powered by a belief in building our own, constantly evolving technology – to build gameplans that consider the entire ecosystem within the player experience economy.”
Mana Partners is currently collaborating with top FMCG brands to roll out a multi-faceted strategy to succeed in this player experience economy. In the coming months, the company plans to develop and launch proprietary technologies and rapidly grow the business across Southeast Asia before further expansion into North America and Europe.
