SINGAPORE — In a focused move to build upon the ongoing program of work invested in the space of media responsibility and sustainability standards for advertisers, which saw the launch of the Mediabrands Media Responsibility Principles and bi-annual Media Responsibility Index; Mediabrands have today announced the appointment of Harrison Boys to the newly created position of Director, Standards & Investment Product, Mediabrands APAC.

This role will lead strategic direction and product development for digital standards in the Asia Pacific region, and will focus on developing and maintaining long term brand hygiene strategies; working closely with partners to ensure that their product development roadmap is aligned with Mediabrands future-facing standards strategy; and developing internal products that provide a more transparent view of our partner ecosystem to our clients.

With eight years industry experience, the last five of which with MAGNA the Mediabrands Global Intelligence unit, Boys has been responsible for delivering significant projects around brand safety, ad fraud, media responsibility, and in-depth media partner assessments, in addition to developing investment products. He was the author of the 2021 Dis/Misinformation Challenge for Marketers research study report which examines the accelerating amount of inaccurate and misleading content appearing across online news outlets and social media platforms; and what brands can do to ensure a more brand-safe environment.
