BANGKOK, THAILAND – Mindshare announced the appointment of Irene Huang to the role of Head of eCommerce, Mindshare Thailand.

The proliferation of online shopping and selling destinations is an exciting opportunity for Mindshare, with 2020 alone where e-commerce has risen dramatically.   As Head of eCommerce, Irene will be responsible for providing Mindshare Thailand’s clients’ strategy and roadmap to help grow e-commerce business in today’s competitive marketplace.

Prior to Mindshare, Irene worked in Shanghai, China at McCann managing the L’Oréal China account. She later continued the beauty journey and switched to the client-side by working at L’Oréal’s headquarter in Paris for seven years. The digital journey began by moving to Bangkok, her favorite city in SEA, at Taboola as the regional marketing manager. To fully immerse in this digital world, she embarked on the exciting e-Com journey with Lazada (Alibaba) as the Head of Health and Beauty for LazMall for more than two years.

“I am excited to join Mindshare Thailand now to travel deeper down the road and hopefully to expand the wider horizon for our clients and consumers in this market,” said Irene.

Pathamawan Sathaporn, Managing Director of Mindshare Thailand said “We welcome Irene to lead on our wish for accelerated growth on E-com for our clients. Her latest stint with Lazada Thailand for 2+ years where e-com was first at the early stages to where it is today, brings me confidence that Irene would bring the knowledge and know-how to lead the strategic front and advise our teams to success.  Her well-rounded expertise and exact match to Mindshare’s culture of ‘Speed, Teamwork and Provocation’ probably stems from her career as an agency person, as a client, and multi-market experiences. I am happy to have her bring the strategic experience to craft E-Comm solutions as a key offering and differentiator for our clients.”
