MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Consumer goods giant Nestle Philippines Inc has recently welcomed its new Chief Marketing Officer Pamela Takai into its Leadership Team. In her new role, she will be bringing forward Nestle’s vision to share Good food, Good life to Filipinos by strengthening the company’s iconic brands and further building Nestle as a marketing powerhouse in the country. Pam brings with her extensive local and international marketing experience in FMCG and is passionate about building brands, growing businesses and leading teams.

Pam’s in-depth marketing experience was honed by years of brand management and leadership roles. In her early years in Marketing with Unilever, she started as a management trainee and has grown into various brand leadership roles locally and regionally in Home Care. Pam moved to its global headquarters in London, UK as Global Marketing Manager in Fabric Conditioners and eventually took on the role Regional Brand Director for Unilever Asia Pacific based in Shanghai and Manila.

Expanding her portfolio to food & beverage category, Pam joined Kraft Food Philippines as Marketing Director of the Philippines and moved to several roles across Asia, Middle East and Africa until most recently as Marketing Director for Southeast Asia for Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods), where she led marketing teams handling 4 food categories with presence across 6 key markets.

Pam’s proven track-record in driving growth and turn-around of business performance through effective marketing has been recognized by notable organizations. She received the Young Market Masters Awardee for Marketing Management by Mansmith and Fielders in 2010 and was awarded Chief Marketing Communications Officer of the Year by Tambuli Awards Asia Pacific in 2017.
