SINGAPORE – Omnicom Media Group (OMG) today announced the promotion of Eileen Ooi, Managing Director of PHD Malaysia, to the role of Chief Operating Officer of OMG Malaysia. This promotion is a testament to Eileen’s stellar track record as a leader and underscores the company’s commitment in nurturing talent by promoting from within its ranks.
An industry veteran with 16 years of experience, Eileen has been leading PHD Malaysia for the last four years and has been instrumental in architecting the agency’s impressive growth trajectory. Under her leadership, Eileen doubled the size of PHD Malaysia’s business and built a balanced and diversified client portfolio across global, regional and local businesses. In addition, Eileen’s passion and tenacity in accelerating PHD Malaysia’s digital expertise and agenda has cemented the agency’s reputation as a formidable challenger in the industry.
In her new role, Eileen will be tasked with overseeing the business operations of OMG and its brands in Malaysia. She will be supported by Anisha Iyer, MD of OMD Malaysia, as well as Kiron Kesav, who will be taking on an expanded remit while continuing in his role as GM of PHD Malaysia. Together, the leadership trio will be responsible for driving continued growth and stability for the network in Malaysia.

Eileen is a regular speaker and has assumed jury roles in numerous industry events and award shows. In addition, she has also been playing a key role in shaping the Malaysian advertising landscape through regular engagements with industry bodies as well as nurturing future talents through her participation as advisor to various universities. For her contributions, Eileen was appointed as Vice President of the Malaysia Digital Association in Sept 2020, making her the first female leader to take the presidential position in the association.
Eileen will report into Tony Harradine and will officially assume her new role immediately.
