SINGAPORE — Redhill, the Singapore-headquartered full-service global communications agency, has appointed Marta Bigio as the company’s Senior Director of Sustainability. Marta will work closely with Redhill’s management team and consultants to strengthen the agency’s sustainability pillar by adding a new dimension of sustainability-led offerings for clients, in addition to overseeing the company’s internal sustainability initiatives.

“The road to sustainability must be paved with authenticity and driven by the right leadership and talent. Marta’s rich experience across markets, proven expertise in executing leadership roles and – above all – passion for sustainability makes her a welcome addition to our team. She will be instrumental in steering Redhill’s efforts forward as we, as well as our clients, embrace and drive through sustainability measures that are genuine, effective, and impactful,” said Tavy Cussinel, Managing Director, Redhill.

Marta brings over a decade’s experience in communications and sustainability-led projects in Europe and Asia. Before joining Redhill, she held senior roles at agencies such as Hill and Knowlton, and at in-house positions at MARS Inc., Crocs Inc., and Unilever. At Unilever, Marta was the company’s Global Senior Communications Manager of Sustainable Sourcing, leading the global communications strategy of its sustainable sourcing initiatives.

“It has never been more crucial to focus on sustainability and organisations today have a critical role to play. Companies must proactively work towards the meaningful application of sustainable initiatives and overcome the trappings of ‘greenwashing’. I’m excited to join Redhill as we ramp up our work to support companies on their sustainability journey,” said Marta Bigio, Senior Director, Sustainability, Redhill.

Marta’s addition highlights Redhill’s continued growth, having onboarded nearly 40 new clients between October 2021 and February 2022. The agency also grew from 30 employees in 2017 to nearly 150 employees in 2022 – a growth also factored by Redhill acquiring Hong Kong-based Creative Consulting Group (CCG) earlier this year to strengthen its presence and service offering in Asia.

Redhill has continued its momentum from 2021 into 2022. In addition to being listed as one of Singapore’s fastest-growing companies by The Straits Times and Statista for the second consecutive year, the agency once again made the Financial Times’ and Statista’s list of High Growth Companies in the Asia-Pacific, having also been a part of it in 2021.
