MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Coming from several business and creative wins over the past year, independent agency Seven A.D. boosts its leadership team with new hires and another promotion.
Management hires include Monica Morelos as AVP for Accounts, and Celson Durante as Associate Creative Director. Joana Callanta now wears the hat of Client Services Director.
With extensive experience in account management and client servicing in both local and global agencies, Monica Morelos has led business units in Harrison Communications and served as General Manager at Riverorchid Vietnam. She has effectively built brands like Unilab, AirAsia, Visa International, Imperial Tobacco, L’OREAL and Maybelline. She strongly believes in the convergence of consumer insights, data analytics and intuition in telling compelling brand stories and creating memorable experiences. She joins the agency full-time after juggling years of motherhood and consultancy work after her stint in Vietnam.
Celson Durante is an art-based creative with experience on both local and international markets. He is a product of the University of the Philippines and spent the first 5 years of his career in the Philippines before transitioning into senior roles in Beijing for another 5 years. Celson’s interests revolve around art, gamification and pop culture references.
An advertising suit for almost 13 years, Joana Callanta has handled several international and local brands ranging from FMCG goods like Magic Crackers, Chippy, and Vitasoy to financial products like AIA Insurance and PSBank, to real estate like Robinsons Land Corporation. Her team has won several accounts throughout the years that have been profitable for the Agency. She is a Three-time Seven Star Employee Awardee (2016, 2017, 2018) and a Seven A.D. David Awardee in 2019.
