People: Simon Cox is appointed as new CEO at EyeEm photography marketplace

BERLIN/LONDON – EyeEm, the global premium stock photography marketplace, today announces the appointment of Simon Cox as CEO. Simon will work with co-founder Ramzi Rizk who will take on the role of President.

With over 20 years in the creative image industry Simon brings a wealth of experience to the role. Namely 14 years at Peach (peachvideo.com) as CEO where he built a global platform with operations in 30 countries; and two years as VP Media Management of Getty Images following its acquisition and integration of image.net in 2004 where Simon was CEO for three and half years and grew revenues by 10x.

EyeEm is the home of some of the world’s greatest stock images and can provide professional photo and video productions globally. The AI powered platform allows brands to find the perfect visual from its bank of millions of commercial images that is fuelled by one of the largest photography communities in the world.
