Publicis Groupe Japan Chief Executive Officer Gareth Mulryan explained the promotion as follows, “I have been continually impressed by Takei-san’s ability to bring his immense creative craft talent to every project and overlay it with today’s modernity in all the work he does, which is so valuable to our clients’ business. It’s always great to see people grow in a company and Takei-san has certainly done that and I know he will be a great ECD.”

Adding on this appointment, Chief Creative Officer Erick Rosa said, “Takei-san has been a critical member of our team, leading teams and brands with consistent work that brings results and fame to our clients. I have had the privilege to work with him for close to five years, and year in and out, his work always rises to the top.
