SINGAPORE — Yahoo has appointed Josh Line as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Line will be at the helm of Yahoo’s global marketing, brand positioning, user acquisition, and customer engagement initiatives, reporting directly to CEO Jim Lanzone.
A veteran in the world of marketing, Line previously served as Paramount Global’s Chief Brand Officer, where he was pivotal in the launch of Paramount+ and the expansion of its direct-to-consumer streaming services. His tenure at Paramount was marked by an ambitious marketing transformation, where he built a robust multi-platform marketing structure across powerhouse brands like CBS, MTV, Paramount Pictures, and Pluto TV. As the driving force behind the company’s rebrand from ViacomCBS to Paramount Global, Line also led the creation of marketing centers of excellence, fostering innovation in media, production operations, marketing technology, and social strategy.
