MAKATI CITY – Synergy Market Research + Strategic Consultancy successfully concluded its first public learning session this 2016 entitled, “Engines of Growth of the Philippine Economy: A Post-Election Economic Briefing and Outlook”. This was held last June 23 at Aruga by Rockwell in Makati City. The event featured Dr. Bernie Villegas, a renowned Filipino economist, thinker, professor, and writer.

Delegates were decision-makers, heads from marketing, finance, and sales of various industries such as real estate, FMCGs, financial institutions, and pharmaceuticals, to name a few. They were treated to an interactive session by Dr. Villegas. The event provided a good peek into what the next 100 days could be for the Philippines under the Duterte administration – what the current and future economic prospects are, to what extent the country should grow for inclusive growth to happen, as well as the challenges and what the government should undertake in order to effect this. These are among the many strategic topics discussed during the event.

This learning series is being embarked on by Synergy as a means for CEOs/CMOs to remain updated with the ever-changing landscape, trends/emerging tools and best practices as these shape and can impact on the choices, values and attitudes of consumers. This is in line with the company’s mission to “create SYNERGY to win consumers.” Major sponsors were Aruga by Rockwell, Asia Brewery Inc., and Meralco. Event partners were adobo magazine, Executive Decisions IMC Firm (staging partner), and The Philippine Star.
