Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Manila’s ‘Jasmine’ is PHL’s last hope for another Lion

MANILA – It has been a quiet two days for the Philippines as the country had not won another Lion since TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno’s Bronze Lion for ‘Hana Water Billboard (The Vetiver Project) in the Lions Health Awards.

There are also no Philippine representatives in yesterday’s shortlists for Creative Data and Film Lions.

Fortunately in today’s announcement of finalists for the remaining categories: Film Craft, Titanium & Integrated and Branded Content & Entertainment, the Philippines finally earned its last and final chance to take home a second Lion in this year’s Cannes Lions.

Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Manila’s campaign, ’Jasmine,’ for TV5 shortlisted for Branded Content and Entertainment. ‘Jasmine’ is a romantic-drama suspense series, featuring actress Jasmine Curtis, that went across digital platforms with a second-screen feature that allows the audience to follow the series on-air and online.

The campaign recently won a Silver for Promo Lotus in the Asia Pacific AdFest.

The winners for the Branded Content & Entertainment Lions and other remaining categories will be announced at the final Cannes Lions awards ceremony tomorrow.
