PASIG CITY – The last leg of adobo Campus Tours 2016, adobo magazine’s student-oriented conferences, was successfully held at University of Asia and the Pacific on November 18.
In partnership with UA&P’s Communitas, adobo brought together inspiring and topnotch speakers from the industry including Paul Rivera, Co-founder and CEO of Kalibrr, Bia Famularcano, Creative Director at Publicis JimenezBasic, Dave Ong, Digital Strategist at ABS-CBN, and Herbert Hernandez, Executive Creative Director at Y&R Philippines and guitarist at Moonstar88 and 6cyclemind.
adobo Campus Tours is part of adobo magazine’s initiatives to reach out to the student community. This year, we also launched Class a, a publication that is directed towards college students who are planning to enter the creative, advertising, marketing, and media industries. And of course, 2016 also saw the biggest adobo Festival of Ideas yet, adobo magazine’s annual festival of creativity held at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre at Resorts World Manila featuring a powerhouse lineup of speakers from all over the region.
Starting with De La Salle University Manila and then with our first out-of-town event at De La Salle University Dasma for 2016, adobo Campus Tours is set to invade more universities in the Philippines in 2017.
