MANILA – Honoring the people and brands that deliver results and promote social good, June 9, 2015 marks the first time the adobo Tambuli Asia Pacific Conference will be held in Manila. Featuring a partnership between University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) and adobo magazine, the conference is part of the magazine’s advocacy and the school’s vision in developing leaders with initiative who will contribute to bettering the lives of individuals, communities, and the greater good.
Angel Guerrero, publisher and editor-in-chief of adobo magazine, says: “We’re proud to be partnering for this event for social good, as this is something we advocate. It’s a timely tie-up, and we’re very privileged to have an exceptional line up of judges and jurors. The conference will certainly be a valuable resource for marketers, NGOs and ad agency heads.”
Jerome “Jerry” Kliatchko, dean of the School of Communications for UA&P, expressed his hopes that the conference would draw in more participants from the region, especially from new audiences like China, Korea and Japan. Dean Kliatchko shares: “The adobo-Tambuli conference on social good marketing that delivers results will showcase winning campaigns that reflect the ever growing belief of clients today that brands that do good, actually bring good results for business.”
Centered on the theme of “social good marketing that delivers results,” it features the convergence of the best minds in the business, coming together to celebrate human truths, hoping to inspire more people to find their purpose, and effect real change—the conference at Raffles Makati will feature talks from respected industry leaders such as: Dick van Motman, Chairman & CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network; Charles Cadell, President of McCann Worldgroup; Ragnathan Somanathan, COO, Starcom Mediavest Group SEA; Tay Guan Hin, Global Executive Creative Director for Lux, Southeast Asia ECD, J. Walter Thompson; Ted Lim, Chief Creative Officer, Dentsu Aegis Network, Asia; Thomas Hongtack Kim, Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Playground Korea; Erick Rosa, Executive Creative Director, Mullen Lowe Singapore; and Yaroslav Orlov, Executive Creative Director, Instinct & More BBDO Moscow Group.
It will be a rare opportunity for the public to interact with these leaders from around the region, as they talk about their areas of expertise and share new insights regarding innovations as well as inspirations found in their industry. With the conference running from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm featuring these luminaries at Ballroom One of the Raffles Makati, the occasion will truly be a day of unprecedented minds.
