MANILA, PHILIPPINES — In support of the Filipino athletes who continuously dream big amidst the present uncertainties, AirAsia Philippines is a proud sponsor of this year’s International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Philippines National Competition held at LausGroup Event Centre in San Fernando, Pampanga last 27 September 2021.

The IFBB Philippines Nationals is known to be the most prestigious bodybuilding competition in the country. Filipino athletes consider it as the perfect platform in unleashing the full potential of their bodybuilding career, giving them the opportunity to conquer the stage internationally.

This year’s competition winners under the categories of Men’s Bodybuilding, Reynold Domalsin; Men’s Classic Physique, Spencer Umah; Women’s Bikini, Leigh Guda; and Women’s Bikini Short Division, April Martos, all received free round-trip tickets to any AirAsia Philippines destination.

AirAsia Philippines Spokesperson Steve Dailisan said, “AirAsia salutes all Filipinos who continue to motivate fellow Filipinos in staying fit physically and mentally. These are tough times, and we all need some source of inspiration be it a hobby, a goal or simply a passion that needs to be lighted for the world to see.”

“Congratulations to the winners of IFBB Philippines Nationals 2021. May you continue to bring honor and glory to the Philippines. Stay safe and healthy!” he added.

Meanwhile, AirAsia Philippines pilot Captain Jino Ledesma also joined the competition and won 3rd place under Master’s Category.

The overall winners are qualified to apply for the IFBB Elite Procard, a requirement needed in qualifying in Elite Pro, the professional arm of IFBB. This will serve as a gateway for the professional and international contests- just a few leaps and pumps away from hitting the bigger stage to represent the Philippines.
