The biggest festival of creativity is back and we have all the details you need to get yourself prepped and ready for everything that’s in store.
This Conference on Creativity is set to happen this weekend, February 2-3, 2019, at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. But be sure to come in earlier as ticket claiming and registration opens at 10:30AM, and gates officially open at 11:30AM. Online ticket purchases can also be made here with the Earlybird rate — rates to change on the day of the event.
Here’s a glimpse of all the fun from Graphika Manila 2018
Better to grab a ticket soon because the lineup of speakers is sure to bring in a crowd. Graphika Manila 2019 will guest industry rockstars specialising on creative design and visual arts, brought to the Philippines from all over the globe.
The list of speakers include Anthony Francisco, a Filipino-American illustrator and concept artist at Marvel Studios who worked on known titles and characters like Thor: Ragnarok’s Loki, Black Panther’s army of female warriors, the Dora Milaje and Guardians of the Galaxy’s Baby Groot, to name a few. Graphika Manila 2019 will also have the founder of award-winning creative agency Middle Boop, Gordon Reid who has led his team to help brands grow through creative ideas, strong art direction and amazing design. Another rockstar joining the lineup is Ivan Dixon, an independent animator, illustrator and designer based in Melbourne, Australia. His signature traditional and pixel art style has led him to produce content for big names like Childish Gambino, Gotye, Cartoon Network, Fallout 4 and so much more.
There will also be some side events and workshops for Sketchbook Lettering for Social Media and Behind the Scenes with the DDC, with designer and letterer Lauren Hom and graphic designer and author Aaron Draplin, respectively. These side events will be happening at SMX Mall of Asia, leading up to the event proper. Full details here.
