BUSAN – BBDO Guerrero and TBWA\SMP end the Philippine’s Gold metal drought after winning a total of three Gold Stars at the annual AD Stars Advertising Festival in Busan, South Korea.
Out of more than 18,000 entries and 3,015 finalists, BBDO Guerrero struck two Gold Stars for Department of Tourism campaign, ’Photo Fails’, under the Place brand category, and for ‘Don’t Drive Hungry’ for Snickers under the Promotion category. The agency also took home a Bronze Star for ‘Your Touch is enough, Mom’, a film campaign for Johnson & Johnson’s.
Meanwhile, TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno scooped a Gold under the Design category for ‘Dirty Watercolor’, a campaign for ABS-CBN Foundation, and two Stars, a Silver and a Bronze for Peerless Product Manufacturing Corp. campaign, ‘Growth’ under Design and Film Craft.
TBWA also recently won Bronze Lions for ‘Dirty Watercolor’ at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the 4As Agency of the Year Award and Best in Creative.
