MANILA – BBDO Guerrero has promoted two of its senior staff, with Ombet Traspe now as general manager and Pepper Feraren now as executive director of strategy.

Both will be reporting to chief executive Tony Harris and managing director, Francine Gonzalez, expanding their former roles with management responsibilities, according to a statement.

Traspe (right) is one of the agency’s home-grown talents, starting as account director eleven years ago before moving up to group account director. He was director of marketing prior to the promotion.

Feraren (left) was a former strategic consultant at BBDO Guerrero before joining as planning director in 2012 to lead its planning department. The agency touts its reputation on winning AMEs, Appies and earning recognition from WARC as one of the world’s top 20 smartest agencies partly thanks to this department.

The promotion came as BBDO Guerrero took on new projects from Globe Telecom, Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC), Mind Museum and, just last week, a branding campaign for AF Payments.

The agency also hauled a notable number of metal last month at Adfest (Pantene), Kidlat (Department Of Tourism) and adobo Design Awards (NUJP) for three different clients across three different disciplines and is also the current Campaign Asia Creative Agency of the Year in the Philippines.

“The Agency has been growing at a tremendous rate and it makes absolute sense to bring Pepper and Ombet onto the Executive team. It makes me very happy that we feel we can make such major promotions from within so it acts as a testament to the energy and commitment of the entire agency,” said Tony Harris, Chief Executive of BBDO Guerrero.

“The lifeblood of an agency is made up of the people who work in it and both Ombet and Pepper embody the spirit of the agency’s drive for creative excellence,” David Guerrero, Creative Chairman of BBDO Guerrero, added
