Brand & Business: WarnerMedia’s streaming service to be available via GlobeOne app in early 2021

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – WarnerMedia, a leading media and entertainment company, and Globe, the largest mobile network operator in the Philippines, have jointly announced that Globe customers will have a new and easy way to subscribe to HBO GO, WarnerMedia’s streaming service in Southeast Asia, from early 2021.

Currently, Globe Prepaid users may go for an extra 1GB for HBO GO with GoWATCH10 on top of their favourite Go promos via the GlobeOne app to enjoy HBO GO. New Globe at Home postpaid subscribers and plan upgraders starting December 1, 2020, can receive three months of the streaming service. 

Coming soon in 2021, Globe Postpaid and Prepaid customers will also be able to subscribe to the service via the GlobeOne app, with Globe Platinum customers able to charge their subscription under their monthly consumable allowance.

With HBO GO, Globe customers can get access to thousands of hours of non-stop entertainment on the go on any connected device. Filipinos can stream or download award-winning HBO Originals, HBO Asia Originals, Korean and Chinese dramas, Hollywood blockbusters, hundreds of hours of kids and family content and more, including Sam Mendes’ war film 1917, Spider-Man: Far From Home starring Tom Holland, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy and Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears: The Movie

HBO GO is also available in the Philippines on the App Store and Play Store with a free trial. HBO GO is available on Android TV, Apple TV, LG TV and Samsung Smart TV – and comes with AirPlay and Google Cast functionality.
