Calling all senior creatives and marketers! adobo magazine is looking for applicants to send to the Berlin School of Creative Leadership in Germany to take part in its Executive MBA Program under the adobo Scholarship.
The Berlin School of Creative Leadership at the Stenbeis University Berlin plays an active role in supporting and publishing scientific research that raises global standards in all creative industry fields and provides valuable resources through its leadership programs.
The Executive MBA program in Creative Leadership is a global part-time program spread over one year. The program takes place in Berlin, New York, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Chief Creative Officers from top agencies like Leo Burnett MENA’s Bechara Mouzannar, Almap/BBDO’s Luiz Sanches, Havas Worldwide’s Folker Wrage, BBDO Germany’s Wolfgang Schneider are just some of the alumni of the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.
The program will start on March 6, 2016. It includes 5 compact two-week modules that can be completed in 12-24 months (total of 70 classroom instruction days). The program includes 3 modules. Learn more about the modules and program schedule here.
Here are some things you need to know about the Berlin School adobo Scholarship:
Eligibility
- Must be a senior creative or corporate executive holding a leadership position
- Must have a strong professional background and a track record of creative excellence
- Preferably, a reader of adobo magazine working in the Philippines
- Preferably, a Bachelor of Arts degree holder or equivalent
Requirements for application
1. Most recent Curriculum Vitae (in English)
2. Accomplished EMBA application form
3. A 1000-word essay answering the question:
“What do you consider to be the biggest challenge facing the Philippine advertising industry, and if you were to win this scholarship, how would you use the Berlin School EMBA program to address it?”

IMPORTANT NOTE: It’s free to apply but please note that this is a partial scholarship of €20,000. The remaining cost, however, may be shouldered by a partner offering long-term loans to applicants from 150 countries.
Winners
The Berlin School of Creative Leadership and adobo magazine will choose one winner of the €20,000 scholarship grant and up to three winners of the €10,000 grant.
The winners will also be entitled to the following perks from adobo magazine:
- FREE (1) year subscription to the 2016 issues of adobo magazine, the Word on Creativity
- Upon completion of the program, an online article and a one-page spread in one of the issues of adobo magazine to present the industry research they have done at the Berlin School.
