Manila – Campaigns & Grey Philippines agency units land two plum accounts from big name brands GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Kraft Foods.
Campaigns Social Response (CSR), the agency’s advocacy unit won the medical marketing pitch for GlaxoSmithKline’s Synflorix in March. CSR will promote the vaccine in the medical community, as well as produce below-the-line materials. The effort includes other public relations initiatives. The new vaccine for pneumococcal disease was released in the Philippine market in late August.
Campaigns&Grey works on GSK’s consumer health products including Astring O Sol, Sensodyne and Eye Mo. The agency won GSK’s corporate communications campaign for its pharmaceutical arm in the Philippines in March. CSR’s responsibilities include other marketing briefs for GSK’s ethical products and vaccines.

Campaigns PR (CAPRI) wrestled off competition from a three-way pitch to promote Kraft Foods’ Cheez Whiz. According to Richard Arboleda, CAPRI managing director, “It’s the first time Cheez Whiz has retained a public relations agency with the intention of embarking on a non-traditional PR campaign.”
