MANILA – Nielsen executive director for media client services Carole Sarthou is set to leave the consumer research company, starting December 23.
Sarthou’s experience in market research spans 35 years, having worked in various corporations such as PSRC, TNS (then known as TRENDS), Kraft Foods, AGB, and Synovate, where she was managing director for 10 years.
Sarthou joined Nielsen as executive director in March 2013, after stepping down as managing director of Ipsos Philippines.
The research veteran shared that while she is still considering options for her next move, it will still be related to consumer research.
“I like learning new things,” Sarthou told adobo. “It’s with different forms of research, different industries, different categories, different kinds of clients that we got hold of all the different kinds of insights. It thrives on your creativity, it keeps you excited.”
