#CreativeFest2019: 4As Philippines to bring industry’s best to CreativeFest 2019

The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines (4As) is staging one of the largest gatherings for creative professionals in the country, CreativeFest 2019, this April 25 to 26 at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

The event will be packed with relevant topics and insightful discussions led by prominent names in the local and global creative industry, aimed at inspiring young professionals and students who want to make it big in the advertising industry.

“CreativeFest 2019 aims to prove one thing: Creativity rules!” 4As CreativeFest 2019 Chairperson Merlee Jayme said. “We will have many big names in the industry all in one place during this two-day event. We are confident that attendees will learn many things from the inspiring figures we’ve invited. We know we can persuade them to believe that all you need is creativity for greatness to happen.”

There will be one theme for each day: Creative Marketing and Creative Technology, respectively. Day one will be led by Burger King Global Chief Marketing Officer Fernando Machado, followed by presentations from top clients and creative hotshots about creative and effective work.

Day two will kick off with Google’s Head of Design Carla Echeverria as keynote speaker, also known as the Filipino who invented and patented Facebook’s Safety Check. Moreover, digital gurus and creative heads will continue discussing trends that will dominate the rest of 2019, and tackle the importance of creativity in the digital world.

Budjette Tan, author of graphic novel Trese which has been recently picked up for a Netflix animated adaptation, will also deliver a keynote speech on Creative Storytelling on day two of the event. He is currently based in Denmark and is the Group Creative Director of Lego. In his talk, he will share his journey from being an Advertising Creative to becoming one of the most sought-after content creators today.

Aside from the aforementioned leaders in the field of advertising, more internationally-acclaimed figures will be coming to CreativeFest 2019. Some of the event’s headliners are Dentsu Asia-Pacific Regional Chief Creative Officer Ted Lim, Dentsu Lab creators Takashi Koyama and Ryosuke Sakakai, Pixel Box General Manager Stephen Douglas, and Head of Creative Shop of Facebook Greater China, Kitty Lun.

The 4As CreativeFest 2019 will be capped with the KIDLAT Awards, an annual awarding ceremony celebrating the best creative advertising work of the past year.
