MANILA – For the third year running, the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and Arts and the Multimedia Arts Program will be staging the Multimedia Arts Festival (MMAF). Titled, ‘[Re] Framed’, the festival is the annual graduation show exhibition of CSB’s Multimedia Arts Program students.
Started in 2012 with the mission of uplifting the value of art in the Philippines beyond graphic arts and technological innovation, the MMAF has the mandate of spreading the aesthetic appeal of Multimedia Arts and the knowledge of their use.
This year’s MMAF will be the means by which 223 young creatives will be able to showcase their works, weaving together together the multiple voices and visions of its participants into a “constellation of artistic expression”.
In addition to the exhibit proper, ‘[Re] Framed’ will feature a collective series of seminars by successful creative industry practitioners speaking on their work and experiences throughout the duration of the festival.
With the collective brief to re-tell/re-create their stories via multisensory displays realized through media such as graphic design, interactive/web, video, motion graphics and sound design, ‘[Re] Framed will be held from November 20-30 at The Green Sun Building, Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City.
