Dentsu Aegis Network acquires ASPAC Creative Communications Inc.

MANILA – After winning Ginebra San Miguel Inc., their biggest account yet, ASPAC Creative Communications Inc.’s today has officially announced that they are now part of Denstu Aegis Network.

ASPAC and Dentsu Aegis have been working closely together since 2012, and the acquisition only formalizes the existing relationship between the two. “ASPAC will become part of Dentsu’s global agency network but will continue to operate separately and retain its brand identity,” said Dentsu Aegis Network in a press release.

This acquisition is a strategic investment to further grow our footprint in the local scene and to continue to strengthen our presence in the sixth largest advertising market in Asia Pacific,” Dick van Motman Chairman and CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia.

ASPAC originally started as ASPAC Communications, Inc. in February 1975. It was founded by Max B. Ramos Jr. Max’s son, Miguel C. Ramos took over the reins in 1996. After the acquisition, Miguel remains to be the Chairman of ASPAC and now the CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network Philippines. Susan Dimacali continues to be the CEO and Angel Antonio, the President & COO.

In 2010 and 2013, ASPAC was named the Independent Agency of the Year in the prestigious 4As Agency of the Year Awards.
