MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The United Nations Development Programme Philippines together with the City of Pasig is rolling out the Adaptable Digitally-Enabled Post-Crisis Transformation (ADEPT), a city project that would provide digital wallets and financial literacy programs for vulnerable citizens during the lockdown.

The goal of ADEPT is to provide a digital wallet that can act beyond the capacity of a savings bank and can be used to pay bills, transfer funds, shop online and buy load. The program is the result of the city’s collaboration with UNDP Philippines to be financially inclusive in mobilizing cash to its citizen during the COVID-19 pandemic.
