MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The time has come for Filipinos to once again hear the roar with the action-comedy series ThunderCats Roar, premiering on Saturday, May 23 exclusively on Cartoon Network.
Staying true to the premise of the beloved original series, Lion-O and the ThunderCats (Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, WilyKit and WilyKat) barely escape the sudden destruction of their homeworld, Thundera, only to crash land on the planet of Third Earth.
The all-new series was produced by Victor Courtright and Marly Halpern-Graser, with Sam Register (from Teen Titans Go!) as executive producer.
The show will premiere at 10:15 am and 7:45 pm on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network is available on Sky Cable Channel 43 (Digital), Channel 178 (HD), and Cignal TV Channel 74 (SD) and Channel 220 (HD).
