Now on its third installment, PPP, FDCP’s flagship program, is a week-long celebration that will exclusively screen quality Filipino genre films from September 13 to 19, 2019 in all cinemas nationwide. PPP officially marks the “Sandaan,” the celebration of the 100 years of Philippine cinema. Fire and Ice Productions is a sponsor of PPP events.

FDCP is the assigned lead agency in celebrating the One Hundred Years of Philippine Cinema pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation 622 Series signed last November. This was announced in honor of Jose Nepomuceno’s Dalagang Bukid, the first considered Filipino-produced and directed feature film.

Five (5) finished films that will complete PPP3’s lineup of eight (8) films will be announced in June. Film production companies still have time to submit their finished films or films in post-production until May 31, 2019.
