EON Group starts year with key promotions

MANILA – EON The Stakeholder Relations Group (EON Group) today formally announced changes to its management team to support the agency’s plan to build and expand its integrated communications offerings.

Junie del Mundo, EON Group Chief Executive, announced the promotion of EON PR Managing Director Richard Arboleda as President and COO of the EON Group.

“These days, shifts in the communications environment happen in a blink of an eye and as an agency we need to be agile to be able to support our client’s evolving needs. Richard has been instrumental in EON’s successes in the last two years and his broad experience both in agency and client side and across marketing disciplines will be important in EON’s next pivot as a business, ” Del Mundo said.

Arboleda has been with the EON Group since 2014 as Managing Director of EON Public Relations. He is a 20-year industry veteran with extensive experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, automotive, real estate, and technology, earned from stints in a number of PR agencies.

Previously, he also held communication leadership positions in infant nutrition company Wyeth and leading consumer electronics leader Samsung. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the the International Association of Business Communicators and chairs its Quill Awards Committee.

“Aside from continuing to be at the forefront of public relations and public affairs in the Philippines, we are setting our sights on further growing our thriving digital, creative and experiential marketing practices,” Arboleda said.

Also promoted was EON DIG managing director Mori Rodriguez, who now takes on the role of Chief Innovation Officer. He will be in charge of the EON Group’s product and service development, research and analytics, business and corporate development. Completing the management change is the promotion of Jay Gaite to Chief Finance Officer.
