MANILA — Eugene Demata, Chief Creative Officer of Campaigns & Grey Manila, has been appointed Chairman of the Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies Philippines (4As) Creative Guild of the Philippines, taking over the reigns from Y&R Philippines’ Badong Abesamis.
In a release by the 4As, they touted Demata’s accomplishments saying, “a 20-year veteran of the industry, Eugene is no stranger to the spotlight. He’s led DDB Tribal Worldwide Philippines and DM9JaymeSyfu as ECD (executive creative director). He’s worked on some of the world’s biggest brands. He’s won many times both at home and abroad, including the country’s first ever Cannes Lions Grand Prix and D&AD Yellow Pencil. There’s very little he hasn’t done, like lead the 4As Creative Guild of the Philippines.”
The Philippine Creative Guild is an organization composed of creative leaders from the Philippine advertising community with the single minded purpose of pushing and elevating the creative standards of the industry. With a rotating board of officers, among the Guild’s regular activities include the staging of the annual Kidlat Awards, the RAW School for young creatives, along with several other Young Creative Competitions and training programs.
