MANILA — After 2 years in the turf of FCB Manila and Digital FCB as Chief Creative Officer, James Bernardo has resigned and moved to Havas Media Ortega as Executive Creative Director.

“It’s been a great two years in FCB Manila. I have seen a lot of positive changes in the agency as well as new business wins with Philippine Airlines as the biggest one and an international award to cap off the two years I’ve been with FCB Manila,” said James.

Stating his reason for leaving FCB, James said that he wants to be a constant learner, to further enhance his knowledge of the digital landscape and share his years of experience in advertising, “I guess it’s my way of trying to master every aspect of the industry.”

Before FCB Manila, James was the Vice President for Marketing at SM Retail Inc. He was also an Executive Creative Director at Bates for almost 2 years and started his agency career at Ogilvy & Mather as Creative Director for 3 years.

“Havas Media Ortega, being a full-service media agency, gives me the opportunity to see ideas in a truly 360 perspective,” added James.

James has started with Havas Media Ortega earlier this April.
