MANILA – Two out of the 18 shortlisted ideas for the inaugural Cannes Young Lions Health are from Interpublic-owned Philippine agencies FCB Manila and Draft FCB Digital.
The Young Lions Health Award, in association with UNICEF and Unilever, challenges young talents in creative communications to solve a brief with a creative integrated campaign.
This year’s brief is to create a two-year project that can help mobilize support to strengthen health systems in the developing world. The focus is to get people to realize that its success rests on their participation, rather than just medicine, doctors, good facilities and aid.
Representing the Philippines is “Live for 18” from Draft FCB and “Third Aid Kit,” collaboration between the sister agencies.
Judging the entries is a 9-man jury composed of UNICEF executives and advertising and marketing veterans in the health industry:
The winners of the Young Lions Health Award will be announced and presented at the official Lions Health Awards Ceremony in Cannes this Friday, 19 June (UTC+1 8 PM / GMT+8 2 AM). The winning team will have the opportunity to join the global healthcare industry, and will see their entry in the spotlight at Lions Health. Further information on the creative brief and the award can be found online at here.
Now on its second year, Lions Health takes place from 19 – 20 June in Cannes, France. Details can be found at www.lions-health.com.
