Centering on materials and techniques while chronicling her personal evolution as woman artist and her encompassing career as printmaker, painter, and longstanding body of work as potter. The book launch coincides with an exhibition of fifteen ceramic pieces.
In the early years of her artistic career, Nelfa Querubin delved into cartography, graphic design, and printmaking. She developed an affinity with ceramic pottery in the early 1970s and has since been devoted to the medium. Querubin reveres the complex medium for its “complete freedom” and its “absence of rules.”
