The success of the first Integrated Marketing Communications Effectiveness Awards (IMCEA) initiated by the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) is now recognized as the UA&P CEO Colloquia: The IMCEA Conference Series. The IMCEA was inaugurated last December.
While establishing the University as a venue for ideas exchange among senior business executives sharing the best practices in corporate social responsibility, the series continues to promote societal values through marketing communications.
In the second IMCEA, Globe Telecom President and CEO Mr. Gerardo Ablaza, Jr. spoke on the Challenges Facing Advertising Agencies Today: A Client’s Perspective. Ablaza talked about the fast-changing market and the transitions ad agencies need to make, especially with regard to new media. He focused on his first-hand experience with Globe Telecom and the steps taken to compete in the face of technological advancement.
