The partnership raises awareness on the benefits of creating an online presence using robust online tools that are easy-to-use and affordable

MANILA, January 29, 2019 — GoDaddy Inc., the world’s largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, launched its first national marketing campaign for the Philippines to build brand awareness. The campaign aims to share the benefits of creating a strong online presence using GoDaddy’s easy-to-use and integrated products and services.

Tina Shieh, GoDaddy Senior Marketing Manager for Asia, shared that after years of observing the Philippine market, they decided to launch finally the campaign in the country because of its vibrant and creative nature. Tina noted how Filipinos are always full of ideas that they are eager to start and work on, this also being a factor to the increasing number of small businesses present all over social media.

To inspire Filipino small business owners and entrepreneurs to launch their own websites, GoDaddy has partnered with AXN Asia, and TV Host and Entrepreneur Maggie Wilson-Consunj to showcase the benefits having a strong and secure online presence has for big and small businesses alike.

Maggie Wilson-Consunji is one of those entrepreneurs who have started to turn their passions into successful business endeavors. As Maggie shared, she believes in “partnering passion with action”, which is exactly what she did when she launched Casa Consunji last 2018.

“Inspired by travels to different countries, I’ve always wanted a place where people have a nice selection of decor and home goods from other parts of the world that are unique, interesting, and special — pieces that I would like to have in my own home”, Maggie explained. “Casa Consunji is exactly that place and it very much represents my personal brand in every way.”

Already bringing the cafe and home store combo to life at Acacia Estates in Taguig City, Maggie knew that to reach her target market, she needed to cast a wider net. Thus, she explored GoDaddy and built her own website with and SSL Certificate for added security protection, to help establish her business’ online presence. Maggie believes that it’s important for small businesses to have a website, instead of purely relying on social media as it allows entrepreneurs to track orders and the overall state of the business better. On top of that, it also allows prospective customers to navigate and explore the business easier — which will make the whole customer experience more simple and enjoyable.

While creating a website sounds like a challenging endeavor, it’s not as complex as it seems with the right online tools.

“It’s never been easier to start a business online, with more tools now easily available and more affordable. The time is now for Filipino small business owners and entrepreneurs to consider how and online presence can help their venture grow”, Tina Shieh advises.
