MANILA – Based on the findings released by Research Company Evaluating the Media Agency Industry (RECMA) for their November qualitative evaluation, Havas Media Ortega (HVMO) and Starcom Mediavest Group (SMG) emerged as the number one media agencies in the Philippines.
HVMO and SMG garnered a total number of 18 points each across RECMA’s 17 performance indicators. Those same performance indicators cut across both Vitality and Structure, and both agencies were ranked as “High Profile.”
HVMO has topped the 2015 RECMA survey for the second time in a row.
“We are happy with our performance. We aimed to be the Philippines’ first truly integrated media agency and in a short period of time, we’re seeing the fruits of our labor,” says Hermie de Leon, treasurer and managing partner and HVMO’s head of media business. “But this means we’ll just have to work doubly hard to keep those numbers up.”
Following HVMO and SMG is Carat with 14 points, then ZenithOptimedia with 12 points, both ranked as “High Profile.” Mindshare follows with six points and a “Good Profile” rank.
