MANILA – Havas Media Ortega (HVMO) today announced that Jason Drilon, Collab Head of User Experience and Technology, is now the new Digital Content Specialist for Lego Systems A/S.
Replacing Jason is duo Leynard Quizon and Claudine Rodriguez, who join the agency as Head of Digital Design and Production (DDP) and User Experience and Innovations Designer (UXID) respectively.
Prior to joining HVMO Group, Leynard Quizon was the Managing Director for a leading Web Development company. Aside from his work for client campaigns, he will oversee the production and implementation of internal projects for the agency.
Before taking on this new role, Claudine Rodriguez was a Group Art Director at HVMO, with a background in User Experience and front end development. Earlier this year, she and her team bagged an award at the Google Cardboard Hackathon for their CONFETTI App.
Jason has been a key player at Havas Media Ortega and Havas Media Asia Pacific through his work for Collab, the regional think-tank of the network.
His expertise on integration and digital has largely contributed to the success of a number of brand campaigns, most recently for Danone’s Blue #livetofeel launch campaign. In addition to his close involvement and work for major brands, he was also part of the team behind Havas Media APAC’s Heartbot initiative, the digital innovation project that uses social media to trigger and initiate mechanical movement to and from devices.
With his new appointment, Drilon will be based at the Lego Headquarters in Billund, Denmark. His role as Digital Content Specialist will largely focus on integration and ideation for the LEGO CITY line.
On this new adventure, Drilon shares, “It’s not every day that you get the chance to work for your dream company. I was certainly surprised when I got a call back from LEGO. It’s both exciting and frightening at the same time. From a local and regional position in Havas Media Ortega and Collab, I suddenly find myself working on global campaigns for a brand that I truly love and respect. It’s an awesome opportunity and I plan to integrate the lessons and thinking I’ve learned in helping build HVMO.”
“Tony, Mother Hermie and Jos have been so supportive of my new career. I am truly blessed to have been in the company of such great creative and driven individuals. I’ve seen HVMO grow from just a handful of people to what it is now, and I can truly say that after having worked in various agencies for the last 15 years, HVMO is a great place to in. The people, the culture, the stories – all have combined to make an awesome place to work in.”
“Jason’s talent and passion have not only helped HVMO get to where it is now, it’s brought him to realize and fulfil his dream of building for one of the most iconic brands of our time. I wish him only the best in this new adventure and can’t wait to see what he’ll be building next,” said Tony Sarmiento III, Managing Partner and Chief Creative Officer.
