MANILA – We all have those moments when we just want to binge watch our good, old favorite movies and TV series. Some of us who are fortunate enough to own and hold terabytes of movies and TV shows in an external hard drive, or have the money to own actual blu ray discs can do this anytime but those of us who don’t would just have to either raid the internet to look for online streaming or wait for a friend who has a copy.

Unfortunately, by the time we get our hands on season 3 of Big Bang Theory or that season 5 episode 8 of How I Met Your Mother, the urge to watch is not just the same when we first thought about it, right?

That’s exactly what iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading internet TV service would like to prevent from happening.

For only P129.00 subscription fee per month, subscribers will have unlimited access to over 10,000 hours of top quality Western and Asian content how you want it and when you want it. One subscription is good for up to five devices. You can either watch simultaneously with your friends or you can just keep it all to yourself and have iflix available on all of your devices–smartphone, tablet, phablet, and computer.

Due to licensing and marketing reasons, newly-released films will not be available yet in the application. You still have to go to the theaters for that and support tradition! But the classic movies, the ones that you just want to watch over and over like The Godfather, Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings, to name a few, you can watch whenever your heart desires.

iflix also carries hit series like The Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, How I Met Your Mother, Glee and Sherlock–all the full seasons (!!!).

More importantly, no ads would have to be skipped to watch the show you like.

In an interview with adobo, iflix country manager for the Philippines, Sherwin dela Cruz told us that they are well aware of the country’s internet capabilities, and therefore they made sure that the format of the shows is fitted for streaming especially on tablets and mobile phones.

“Contrary to popular belief, the internet speed in the Philippines is improving. We are one of the slowest, but you don’t have to have the fastest internet speed to stream content. Every year it’s improving, so it’s ready [for a service such as iflix],”” said dela Cruz.

As a treat, iflix is offering a 14-day free trial of their internet TV service. That’s 14 days of, literally, thousands of movies and TV series that you can watch for free! So, grab a popcorn and head on over to http://iflix.com.ph!
