MANILA – The Boomerangs, the country’s annual show for digital marketing excellence, announces Leigh Reyes as its jury president.
The show’s co-chairpersons Kichi Madlansacay and Cynthia Dayco, say, “IMMAP is pleased that Leigh has accepted our invitation. She is a globally recognised creative director, whose wisdom is respected by advertisers and whose passion for digital is known within our industry.”
Since The Boomerangs now celebrate ingenious digital ideas that are inspired by consumers and that changes the way they think and act towards brands, they add, “Her experience as both an awarded creative and an international juror will serve The Boomerangs well.
Of her role, Leigh says, “Thank you for the invitation to head the Boomerang 2015 jury. Invitation accepted. Looking forward to the relaunch of Boomerang and its theme of ingenuity and innovation, helping marketers and agencies refocus on consumer-led metrics!”
Leigh is the president and chief creative officer of Mullen Lowe Group Philippines, and entered the Creative Guild Hall of Fame in 2015. Winner of the country’s first gold Clio, she has been awarded and recognized at Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Spikes, Adfest, LIA, NYF, AME, ADC, DMA, and others. She has served on the juries of Cannes Lions, LIA, Adfest and Spikes, and Startup Weekend.
Leigh is also a founding member of MobileMonday Manila, an open community platform that brings together mobile visionaries, developers and enthusiasts.
With its new focus and new jury president, IMMAP and the show’s organisers have positioned The Boomerangs as a bigger, worthy challenge for creatives, planners, developers, and advertisers.
The Boomerangs open for entries, from July 1, 2015. Deadline for submission is on July 31, 2015.
