MANILA – The creative content studio and pioneering production house Indie.go Media introduced director Dan Villegas as its newest in-house director. The company also announced the launch of its brand-new mobile app called Indie.go Connect—the first app of its kind in the local industry.

Known for critically-acclaimed, big-screen hits such as “The Break-Up Playlist”, “Always be my Maybe” and “English Only, Please”, Villegas joins Indie.go’s powerhouse roster of commercial directors and filmmakers, led by acclaimed director and Indie.go CEO Jun Reyes, plus Zig Marasigan, Mihk Vergara, and Nic Reyes.

According to Jun Reyes,“Dan’s outstanding storytelling skills complement Indie.go’s branded content initiatives.”

Along with Villegas coming on-board, Indie.go also launched the mobile app Indie.go Connect both for Android and IOS.

The app, available for free, embodies the company’s visionary spirit and thrust towards best practices in an increasingly digital and mobile industry.

Apart from keeping users up to date with the latest projects from Indie.go, the app is also a tool for creatives working with the company to connect securely on a per-project basis. The aim is to make it easier for them to work on projects and to streamline the creative process from start to finish.

Indie.go Media Executive Producer Cecile Cruz Guidote calls the app a “disruptor” adding that, “It renders our current methods obsolete and shows us a better way to work.”
