adobo magazine has put together a powerful line-up of designers to share their creative expertise and experiences for the second installment of the adobo Design Awards Design Series. Open to professionals and students, the one-day event will take place on March 24, 2015 at the Mind Museum Special Exhibition Hall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

“It’s all about keeping with our brand being the Word on Creativity,” said adobo editor-in-chief, publisher, founder, and president Angel Guerrero. “The Design Series is part of adobo’s ongoing commitment to promoting creative education in the country.”

Covering topics from all aspects of design, this year’s speaker line-up includes Rina Malonzo and Trina dela Rama, Founders of PortfolioMNL to talk about The Business of Design; Love & Madness Clothing Corp. founder AJ Dimarucot will share his story on Surviving Freelance; Robert Alejandro from RAA Design, an artist known for his whimsical designs will cover Design that Does not Give a F***. Illustrator Dan Matutina from Plus63 Design Co. will talk about Born Identity: Designing for New Brands. Lastly, the Design Series will have Nico Puertollano, a digital based illustrator and CEO Flux Design Labs to talk about Infographics: A Visual Language.

In addition to conducting the Design Series workshops, the speakers will be serving as jury members for the adobo Design Awards.
